FAQ

Twitter/X Video & Image Downloader FAQ

How do I download a video from Twitter / X?
Open the tweet, tap Share → Copy link, paste the twitter.com or x.com link into the box above, then choose an HD or SD quality and download the MP4.
Does it work with x.com and old twitter.com links?
Yes. Both x.com and twitter.com tweet links point to the same post, and either format works for downloading the video.
Can I download a Twitter GIF?
Yes. X stores GIFs as short looping videos, so they download as MP4 just like any other tweet video.
Is it free and do I need a Twitter/X account?
It is free to use and you do not need to log in to X. Just paste a public tweet link in your browser — no app or account required.
Can I download videos from private (protected) tweets?
No. Only videos from public tweets can be downloaded. Protected accounts and private posts are not accessible.
